"Summer 1997, I was 15 and I'd started to attend every punk rock/hardcore show in my area during that year, but all I'd gotten to see live was a few local bands. One year and a half earlier I'd started to discover Rancid, Bad Religion, Nofx, Lagwagon, Propagandhi... and went totally crazy into it.

I remember as if yesterday the happiness I felt that day of that summer when a friend showed me a flyer for a show that was going to happen a couple of months later in Oviedo, 30 kms away from my hometown: Lagwagon + Pulley + Blink 182 ("nobody" knew them in Europe yet). I was already a huge Lagwagon fan and a few months earlier I'd gotten a tape with Pulley "Esteem Driven Engine·" that I loved from the first listen.

Probably anyone of you that are reading, knows exactly what it means your first hc/punk show where you really love the bands and remember exactly how bad you screamed out your lungs in every song and how you felt. That's how I will always remember Pulley and what it means to me, so it couldn't be fucking cooler working with them for this tshirt design!

To finish the story, when "@#!*" album came out in 1999 someone lent me an original cd copy to watch the extra stuff for the PC that came on it. So fucking insane that consisted of footage from that tour and specifically some while they were being arrested in Oviedo that day. "Funny" that more than 20 years later I reissued that album with my own label and now I am just starting this new ethical clothing project with this Pulley design. Life sometimes is weird but good..."
